Beachfront Activities near St. Petersburg

Situated along the Gulf of Mexico and adjacent to St. Petersburg, Treasure Island Beach embodies the natural beauty and laid back lifestyle of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Our stunning three-mile beach features pristine waters and sugar white sands, yet is typically free of large crowds, providing an ideal setting for relaxed getaways and family vacations alike.
Enjoy long walks along one of the most beautiful stretches on Florida's West Coast, or simply grab a spot on the sand and revel in some much needed relaxation. The gentle waters of the Gulf are also ideal for swimming and snorkeling, while guests seeking more adventurous pursuits will find plenty of jet ski rentals, boat charters, and other water sports nearby. Of course, no visit to Treasure Island Beach is complete without experiencing one of our picture-perfect sunsets. We recommend gathering with friends by the fire pit or watching the sun sink into the water from the comfort of your private, furnished balcony.
Resort guests can also bask in the sun at our own Gulf front pool or venture off to enjoy all that Florida's Gulf Coast has to offer.

Looking For Hidden Treasure?

The name Treasure Island may conjure up images of pirates, wooden chests, and gold coins - and in the town's case, this is the history - with a twist. This small Florida town got its name from an early hotel owner who secretly buried and then later "discovered" treasure chests on the beach, looking to attract early visitors to the area.
Now our guests return year after year to this "Treasured" location for the pristine sands, gentle waters, and relaxed way of life.
